Welcome to the GEOS 440 Team 2 webpage for the Fall 2022 semester.

Sensor: SI1145 Digital UV Index/IR/Visible Light Sensor

We plan on measuring the amount of UV and IR radiation on cloudy and sunny days, two days of sunny measurements and two days of cloudy/rainy measurements, making 48 hour graphs for each. The sensor is compatible with Arduino and we have the code uploaded and tested our ability to transfer days worth of data to an SD card. The UV measured with our sensor is measured on the UV index, however the IR has no units associated with the measured value so we will compare IR with its values at different times of day to gauge what we are seeing.
