Bandgap in Semiconductors

In this experiment we use the voltage across a diode, with constant current and varying temperature, to estimate the bandgap of the semiconductor. LabVIEW programming and construction of a constant-current circuit is required.

Equipment built by Eric Ayars. This experiment is very straightforward and has been used regularly by prior lab students with good results.
