Short vita

Dr. Anna Petrova-Mayor studied Physics specializing in Laser Physics at Sofia University, Bulgaria. She completed a Ph.D. at the University of Hohenheim, Germany. As a Ph.D. project she designed and developed a solid-state laser based on a Cr4+:YAG crystal for use in laser remote sensing (LIDAR). The results of this project are published in her dissertation and a paper in the journal Applied Optics. Dr. Petrova-Mayor joined the Physics Department at CSU Chico in August of 2008.
