Independent Study PHYS 499

Research in Optics and Lasers.


The offered research projects employ cw and pulsed lasers in the visible and near infra red spectral ranges. We have fiber coupled semiconductor, high pulse energy Nd:YAG, Nitrogen,
CO2, Argon ion, and He:Ne lasers.


Students’ proposals for projects of special interest are welcomed.
